เรื่องย่อ

เรื่องราวของสาวน้อยแม่มด “กิกิ” ที่เมื่อถึงวัย 13 ขวบ เธอต้องออกเดินทางไปกับจิจิแมวของเขาและไม้กวาดเพื่อค้นหาตัวเอง ในเมืองที่ไม่มีแม่มดอื่นมาอยู่ ในที่สุด เมืองที่เธออยากไปอยู่ก็มาอยู่ตรงหน้า เมืองใหญ่โตริมทะเลที่เธอฝันไว้ ความที่เป็นเมืองใหญ่ มีผู้คนอาศัยอยู่มาก เธอจำเป็นต้องปรับตัวและหาวิถีที่จะอยู่ในเมืองใหญ่เมืองนี้ให้ได้

ในที่สุด เธอก็ได้ไปอยู่กับครอบครัวทำขนมปัง แล้วเธอก็ใช้ความสามารถในการขี่ไม้กวาดให้เป็นประโยชน์ คอยรับจ้างส่งของให้กับคนในเมือง
กิกิได้เจอกับเพื่อนใหม่มากมาย ต่างวัย ต่างอายุ แต่ก็เป็นคนที่คอยให้กำลังใจเธอยามที่เธอสูญเสียเวทมนตร์
